Powder Rooms

Power rooms or guest bathrooms can be a chance for you and your interior designer to have a little fun and display some extra creativity. Usually one of the smaller rooms, and frequented by guests, it can be an excellent way to show off some unusual features. Wall treatments can include faux painting and wall paper. Basins and cabinets can be special or made of unusual items, such as an antique chest. Notice the full moon on a dimmer switch in one of the rooms below. Or the Mexican bowl set into a granite slab and mounted on a converted chest of drawers. This can be one of the more exciting rooms in your house!
