This photo gallery of family room designs is here to show furniture arrangements, accessories, lighting, and color. In many cases, the family room also serves as the media room, and the placement and visibility of the television must take into account the room lighting and the position of the windows. Also note the wall treatments, and the use of wall paper, paint, or faux painting. Floors can be tile, stone, carpet, wood, or area rugs, or a combination.
