Coleen Ann Krnich Choisser, Certified Interior Designer, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental
Design from San Diego State
University
cum laude in 1970. Since then, she has become known for her creativity, artistic
talents, and winning personality. Although as an artist she paints and has
designed fashions and jewelry, her first love and primary field has always
been as an interior designer. She is a member of the International Interior
Design Association (I.I.D.A.), and is certified by the California Council for
Interior Design Certification (C.C.I.D.C.).
Coleen's interior design clients are very dedicated to her, and in fact many of her clients have had her decorate their homes for the second third times over the years. Her jobs vary in size from a single room in a modest apartment to multi-million dollar estates. In some cases the project is designed as a master plan to be carried out over several years as funds become available. Using a master plan insures that as each room is completed, it will eventually become part of a well-coordinated design for the whole house.
Coleen has carefully selected a variety of painters, cabinet makers, muralists, stone masons, carpet installers, shutter and window covering manufacturers and installers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other craftsmen to perform the variety of work necessary to carry out her designs. She recognizes that their performance reflects directly on her reputation, and takes pride in their work and the client's satisfaction.
Most of Coleen's clients are in the San Diego area; including La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe, Downtown San Diego, Rancho Bernardo, Encinitas, Olivenhain, Carlsbad, Point Loma, Del Mar, La Mesa, and Bonita. However, she has both regular and new clients in Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, and other desert cities, as well as up the coast in Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. She has also done jobs for clients in Scottsdale, San Francisco, San Mateo, Reno, El Paso, and Lake Tahoe.
